The Achensee Golfclub, the oldest course in Tirol, was founded in the year 1934. After the first modernization in 1995, the course, which - by the way - begins in the village itself, was made an 18-hole course in 2003. It is truly unique to be able to admire not only the wonderful old larch, fir and beech trees, but the fantastic position beside the lake of Achensee. This alpine course offers exceptionally gentle fairways in flat territory, right at the entrance to the Karwendel Nature Reserve. A special highlight is the newly built club house.
